As you can probably relate life can get hectic and very busy. Sometimes we (us, you and all those other people) get caught up with work, school, kids, errands and a list of things to do a mile long. In turn we forget to thank our significant other for the big things or small things that they do.
With all of life’s distractions its easy to forget to say “Thank You” Thankful Thursday is a day set aside that we make sure we thank our significant other for the big things or the little things that they do or have done. We encourage you to take this time to thank your significant other for things they have done. You can write them a note, send them an email, text them or even tell them face to face… The point is let them know!
While you’re at it leave a comment below sharing what you are thankful for!
The past two weekends we have went on little adventures. Two weekends ago we went to Branson- you can read about that here. This last weekend we went to Eureka Springs for a Memorial Day weekend family get together. Not only does these things take money, but for us it takes the willingness to get out of our schedule and figure out how to fit in our workouts somehow.
I was thinking yesterday how fun and exciting these types of things are, but the sacrifices that have to be made to be able to do things like weekend get aways. Things like: go to work everyday so we have money to do it, packing, buying supplies, getting cash from the bank, thinking about food, loading trainers, bikes and many pairs of athletic shoes, staying up later, feeling tired, and cramming in workouts while others are just relaxing.
This week I am thankful that Ryan and I work together to make these sacrifices so that we can have fun adventures like we have gotten to do the past two weekend! This weekend we are off to El Reno for Ryan’s race!
What are you thankful for this week in your relationship or spouse?
