Halloween is always a fun time of the year! Even though we don’t celebrate in the typical way of taking our daughter trick-or-treating or handing out candy we do still enjoy the holiday. I mean this is the time of the year that we got married! Tomorrow is actually our 4th wedding anniversary!
Our Halloween this year will consist of running a 15k which is the same race Ryan and I met at and then ran the following year before our running themed wedding. We will then take Miss M, the busy bumble bee, to a carnival and parade in the afternoon. Our evening will consist of painting pumpkins as we hand out nonfood treats to any trick-or-treaters that come our way.
Now if we are being honest, I think trick-or-treaters pegged our house as “do not go there” after the first year when we handed out pistachios and raisins! ha! We upped our game with nonfood items so we still aren’t handing out candy, but maybe kids won’t be so disappointed when they come to our house. But either way we need to get them to our front door if we plan on handing out our goodies at all. That is why I wanted our Halloween decor to stand out! Maybe if our porch looks cool kids will come! (I acknowledge that sounds like I’m in middle school. HAHA!)
Middle schoolish or not. I have some awesome Halloween decor that I know will draw the kiddos to come see what treats we are handing out! Which happens to be Halloween stickers, pencils and little creepy plastic toys. So here are four decorations from PersonalizationMall.com I am using to dress up our front porch:
- Personalized Door Mat: I have had our door mat out all month! I like the cute greeting it gives to all our guests!
- Creepy Personalized Bottles: Ryan got a kick out of the fact you could put your own names on the bottles with your birth year. I made the “fresh blood” have his name on it!
- Treat Basket With A Name: We decided to put “treats” on the personalized section so we could put treats in it to hand out to others since we don’t take Miss M trick-or-treating. But you could put your kiddos name on it. She has been carrying the basket all around the house…and wearing it as a hat!
- Special Treat Stickers: Add these cute personalized stickers to your treats. I liked how you could customize both lines of text and that there were two color scheme options.
These four personalized items will for sure make our Halloween decor stand out and make our treats special! You can make your Halloween decoration and treats stand out with these items or other ones too. You can check out these items and so many more at the Halloween Store Page on PersonalizationMall.com!
And an extra picture for fun! She is a busy bee that is for sure! Look at that face…oops!
Have a Happy Halloween and a safe one too!
