Hi, our names are Ryan and Cassie and we strive for true agape in our marriage on a daily basis. We got married in October of 2011 with a running themed wedding. It only seemed right! After all, we did meet at a race the year before. We continue to train and learn not only for our races, but for our marriage.
Cassie is the event coordinator for our youth speaking business after teaching for 3 years. Ryan is a piping designer in the oil and gas industry and is working towards his lifelong goal of becoming a professional triathlete.
We believe respect, trust, understanding and willingness creates happy marriages. We work to keep those things the main focus in our marriage and want to challenge others to do the same thing. Life and marriage struggles come about, that is a fact! However, we have a choice on how we handle each situation. We want True Agape to help build endurance for your marriage and family to better handle those diverse situations.
What does True Agape mean you might be asking?
1. being in accordance with the actual state or conditions; conforming to reality or fact
2. real; genuine; authentic
3. sincere; not deceitful
4. firm in allegiance; loyal; faithful; steadfast
divine, unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love
In 2011 when we started this adventure we were newlyweds on a mission to show true agape to each other and help others do the same. In July of 2014 we brought our first little one into the world. We sincerely believe not only shall we love our spouse with true agape love, but we should also love our children in that same way. For that reason we have expanded our blog to include family resources as well!
We look forward to connecting with you!
