Is it your turn to plan the date? Are you wondering what kind of date your man would enjoy? Trying to think of something you haven’t done yet? Tired of at home dates? If you answered yes to any of these then this post is just for you! Don’t get me wrong dinner and a movie is always great. With Quality Time and Physical Touch as my primary Love Languages I enjoy chatting at dinner and then cuddling up at the movie. But sometimes we need to get out of the normal things that we always do. We need some variety in our marriage! So go ahead and check out these dates every wife should plan!

4 Dates Every Wife Should Plan
- Arcade- Get a cup like this Pac-Man Cup
and fill it with quarters. Tell your man to get in the car. Find an old school arcade or take off to somewhere like Dave and Busters. This can allow you two to play some games solo or compete together.
- Laser Tag- Get some friends to join you or jump in on a mission with other people that are there too. A few missions later you two will have some fun stories and memories.
- Trampoline Park- This is a great way to get active while letting the inner child come out. Have a show down to see who can jump the highest or who can do the coolest trick in midair.
- Geocaching– Tell your guy to find a little something laying around the house that he wouldn’t mind giving away. Trade his little something for this military grade compass
. Then, head out the door with him where you both will have to use your investigation and navigation skills.
Each of these date ideas provide a sense of adventure that other dates don’t. Most men like adventure in some form or another so these are some great dates to try out. For me I know these dates provide Ryan with a little more adventure, but are still things I would enjoy since we get to spend quality time together and have a bit of fun. Go ahead make sure to plan some of these dates in the near future!
Don’t have the money for these dates? Can’t get out of the house for date night? That’s okay. We have you covered! Here are 20 dates that are less than 50 cents each!
What is a date you feel every wife should plan?
Until Next Time- Love Truly,
Cassie

love these ideas!!! I’d LOVE to take hubs to an arcade… a little friendly competition is always fun!
We’ve done geocaching before and it’s super fun but I never think of it when date night comes around (which isn’t often enough)
We have had a blast at Dave and Buster’s before, Shaunacey! We have not tried geocaching yet because we don’t have smart phones, but it is for sure on our list to try sometime. Ryan actually got us a pass to go laser tagging for Christmas because I have been telling him I want to take him there for a date. I am excited to do that since I never have before!
Awesome ideas. Never heard of a trampoline park. Laser tag sounds wonderful. Thank you for the post!
I had never really heard of it before either, Neyssa. But one came to our town and I have been seeing people put pictures up on Facebook about it. Looks fun!
Love the idea of geocaching. We enjoy the outdoors and this is on the list for 2015! Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked the idea Sheila! Hope your 2015 dates are great ones!
I think it depends on the man. My husband would not really be up for any of those suggestions. But if I planned a date hiking out in the woods, floating the river, fishing or eating snack food and hanging out with him while we watched College Football together–he’d love those things.
Hi there Jenny! Yes, I do think it depends on the man as well like you mentioned. But most people want or need a little adventure in their lives even if they don’t do it often or on a regular basis. Have you ever looked into geocaching? Those are often done on trails or hiking areas. That could be a cool way to change up the normal hiking you would do.
I love the creative ideas you give us and the dates you challenge us to plan and make a priority, Cassie. I’m still planning on doing that “Geocaching” date with my hubby and I heard about that from you, I think! Didn’t know what it was until you suggested it in an earlier post, correct? Happy New Year and I pray that God blesses you and your ministry in amazing ways in 2015!
I am glad you enjoy them, Beth! Yes, that is a great one to try. It is on our list to try as well. Since we don’t have smart phones it is a bit challenging to do. But the one we are currently looking forward to the next time we get a sitter is laser tag! Let me know how you like Geocaching!
We’ve done the first 3–the arcade, because it’s so inexpensive, is definitely a favorite. We also like wandering outdoors, but I don’t know how to do geocaching without smartphones or a gps–I’ve only done it with my more high-tech relatives! 🙂
Haha! Rachel, I am right there with you! I really want to try geocaching, but we don’t have smart phones! I know crazy. But we are still on old school flip phones. Maybe one day we can snag a family members smart phone and go geocaching though! I have heard such great things about it!
I will be sending this article to my wife for future planning 🙂
We went laser tagging a few weeks back, Marcus, and we both had a blast! Hope you have some adventurous dates ahead!
We totally want to do one of those crazy trampoline things, but I don’t think there are any in our state. We love acting like kids, though, and have a designated “giggle time” before we go to sleep each night during which we are just plain silly for a few minutes.
Visiting from the Blogging Collective =)
A fun date where you get to laugh is always a good one, Natasha! You might just need to go to a neighboring state to go to a trampoline park!
For those who want to try geocaching, but don’t have smart phones or gps, Google ‘letter boxing’! It’s the original concept, and doesn’t require GPS. Instead, it uses physical clues. We think it’s a lot more fun and creative!
Thanks Teresa for this tip! We didn’t have smart phones until about a year ago so when I first heard about it I thought we couldn’t do it! I wish I would have known about this! Maybe we will have to try it out even though we have smart phones now!
